Learn why clearing your browser’s cookies and cache can solve common issues and how to do it on Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.
Cookies store small bits of data from websites—like login info, site preferences, or shopping carts.
Cache stores images and files to help websites load faster the next time you visit.
Over time, both can cause problems like:
Pages loading incorrectly
Login errors
Old content showing up instead of updates
Privacy concerns (tracking cookies)
Solution: Periodically clear them—either globally or for a specific website.
After website updates or redesigns
When you experience login or loading issues
If you suspect a site isn’t functioning properly
As a regular privacy or maintenance habit
