How to Set Your Sign-In Preference

🔐 How to Set Your Sign-In Preference

You can control how often you need to sign in to your Investor Village account. By adjusting your Sign In Preference on your Settings page, you decide whether you want to log in every time you visit or stay signed in until you manually log out.

If you are a visual learner, or just looking to save time, check out the attached screenshots. They follow the sequence of the help script below:

📍 Step 1: Go to Your Settings Page

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. Navigate to your Settings page.

📝 Step 2: Check Your Current Sign-In Preference

  • There are two options available.

  • The option with the blue bubble (radio button) is your current setting.

🔒 Option 1: Require Me to Sign In with Each Visit (Default)

  • For security reasons, this is the default setting for all accounts.

  • You will be prompted to sign in every time you visit the site.

🔓 Option 2: Keep Me Signed In Until I Sign Out

  • This option keeps you signed in virtually all the time.

  • You can still sign out manually whenever you wish.

  • Great if you don’t want to enter your credentials on every visit.

🛠 Step 3: Make Your Selection

  1. Select your preferred option by clicking the radio button.

  2. Important: If you change your setting, click the green Save Settings button to apply it.

💡 Tip

Review this setting periodically to make sure it still matches your security needs and personal preferences.
