How to Use “My Library” to Save and Organize Favorite Posts

Learn how to use the “My Library” feature on Investor Village to store links to favorite posts for easy access across the entire site.

📌 What Is “My Library”?

My Library is a handy built-in tool that lets you save and organize links to your favorite messages from any board on Investor Village. It’s like your personal collection of bookmarks—available anytime, all in one place.

🔗 What Exactly Gets Saved?

When you click “Add to My Library” on a message, you're saving a direct link to that post—not the full content.
Each entry in your library will display the post’s subject line as a clickable hyperlink.

🧠 Clicking the title will take you to the original message on the board it was posted to.
You won’t read the message inside the library itself—it’s simply a convenient launchpad to quickly revisit posts you value.

🛠️ How to Add a Post to Your Library

  1. Look below any message you’re reading on a board.

  2. Click the link that says “Add to My Library.”

  3. That’s it! You’ve saved a direct link to that message.

📁 How to Access Your Library

  1. Hover your mouse over “My Content” in the top-left header of any page.

  2. In the drop-down menu, click the third option: “My Library.”

  3. You’ll see a chronological list of links to all the posts you’ve saved.

📄 What You’ll See Inside “My Library”

Each saved post will appear as a linked title (its original subject line).
You’ll also see:

  • The board it came from

  • The member who posted it

  • The date it was posted

  • The number of recommendations (“recs”) it received

Click the column headers to organize your library however you like:
